The Work Is Alive

A fresh tattoo is not only ink. It is living, healing skin.

In the first days, offer it stillness and patience. Always wash your hands before touching the area.

  1. If You Have Second Skin Film

  • If protected with a second skin film, leave it undisturbed for 3–5 days.

  • Fluid beneath the film is normal.

  • Unless leaking or damaged, do not remove it.

If removal becomes necessary:

  • wash gently, pat dry, and apply a thin layer of fragrance-free lotion.

  1. Daily Ritual

Cleanse 2–3 times daily

  • With lukewarm water and mild, fragrance-free soap.

Do not scrub.
Pat dry with a clean paper towel.

Apply a light layer of lotion.
The skin should feel hydrated — never greasy or heavy.

If it appears shiny or sticky, reduce the amount.

Balanced skin heals beautifully.

3. During Healing (2–4 Weeks)

Allow the artwork to settle.

Avoid:

• Soaking in baths, pools, oceans, or hot tubs

• Direct sun exposure or tanning beds

• Intense workouts or heavy sweating

• Excessive stretching of the tattooed area

• Tight clothing or friction

• Scratching or picking

Early stretching and repetitive movement may increase irritation and contribute to pigment loss.

Peeling, light itching, and mild redness are natural parts of healing.
Do not interfere.

Trust the process.

When to Seek Care

If you experience severe swelling, increasing pain, unusual discharge, or spreading redness, consult a medical professional.
